Besides a beautiful, cosmopolitan hub, London can also be a high-pressure city. For the times you need to escape the craziness of the everyday lifestyle in the British capital and feel like a carefree kid again, even for a little while, our reporters have found some pretty awesome places that offer fun activities specifically for all of you adults out there!
Go Ape (Various Locations)
Experience new heights and the amazing British outdoors by climbing ropes and darting past tall trees on smallish zip lines at Go Ape. Swing through the trees of the leafy, jungle-like Battersea Park alongside other locations across London and challenge your limits as the crossings get more difficult as you ascend the treetops. Perfect for both adults and children alike (the easier levels, of course). Find out more here.

Draughts Board Game Café (Haggerston)
Raise your hand if you believe that board games are boring or only suited for a rainy, winter evening. A short visit to Draughts café will change your mind immediately. We welcome the first board game bar in London that gives you and your buddies the chance to spend the night with a cold beer at hand, playing one (or several) of the more than 800 board games in its library for only £5each! Besides playing games just for the fun of it, you may also play for glory by simply joining a tournament. Not to mention the opportunity to meet professional board game designers in one of the workshops and themed evenings that are frequently organised! Details here.
Flipout London E6 (The Old Gala Bingo Hall)
After a dazzling £3 million renovation, the 3-storey arena has transformed into a fun adventure park featuring:
· a 100-meter indoor potholing zone,
· a humongous slide with a 30ft drop (nearly vertical),
· rows of trampolines (interlocked),
· a laser maze,
· a dozen themes climbing walls,
· a cyber tower,
· a dodgeball, and
· a ninja warrior course!
If you have no one to take care of the little one, bring him along! There is an enchanted castle themed play zone with soft balance beams, a ball pool, slides, play tunnels, and building blocks for endless family entertainment! More info, here.
